Nine things every Navkar unit does

These are not upgrades on a premium model. Every stabilizer in the NTC range ships with all of them.

Cuts off before damage

Built-in high and low voltage cut-off disconnects your appliance the moment the supply leaves the safe band — then reconnects when it returns.

5–10 second restart delay

After a power cut the unit waits before switching your AC back on. That pause is what stops a compressor restarting against pressure and burning out.

You can see it working

The digital display shows live input and output voltage side by side, and warns you the moment a surge or drop is detected. No guessing.

German-technology toroidal core

An auto-wound toroidal transformer runs cooler and wastes less. Navkar rates its self-consumption below the ISI norm — the unit itself draws less than a light bulb.

High-tensile metal cabinet

Questions we get every day

Which stabilizer do I need for a 1.5 ton AC?
You need an NTC 400 model. Which one depends on your supply: if voltage stays near normal, the 170V–270V version is enough; if it drops badly, step up to 130V–270V, 100V–300V or 90V–300V. Use the finder above, or send us your usual voltage reading and we will confirm.
What does "170V–270V" actually mean?
It is the input working range — how far your mains can wander while the stabilizer still delivers a safe, steady output. Outside that band it protects your appliance by cutting off instead. A wider range means the unit keeps working in worse conditions.
Should I just buy the widest 90V–300V model to be safe?
Only if you need it. A wider range costs more and is built for genuinely bad supply. If your voltage rarely falls below 170V, the standard model protects you just as well day to day. We would rather sell you the right one than the biggest one.
What is the difference between the L and D variants?
Both are micro-controlled stabilizers with the same protection features and the same 170V–270V working range. They differ in cabinet and display configuration. [CLIENT TO CONFIRM: exact difference between the L and D variants so this can be stated precisely.]
Do I need a stabilizer for an inverter AC?
Many inverter ACs claim built-in voltage handling, but that protection is usually narrower than the swings seen on Indian supply, and compressor damage from voltage is typically outside warranty. If your area sees deep dips or surges, a stabilizer is still worth fitting. Tell us your AC model and we will advise honestly.
How much does a Navkar stabilizer cost?
Price depends on the model and the working range you need, and we quote differently for households and for dealers buying in quantity. What warranty do you give?

What is the difference between a servo stabilizer and this one?
A servo stabilizer uses a motor-driven variable transformer and is normally chosen for industrial loads and tight output accuracy. The NTC range is micro-controlled — solid-state switching, faster response, no moving parts to wear out — which suits household and light commercial appliances like ACs. Navkar manufactures both.
Is a wall-mounted stabilizer safe with children around?
That is one of the reasons it is wall-mounted. Fixed above floor level, the unit and its connections stay out of reach and away from water and dust, inside a high-tensile metal cabinet rather than a plastic shell.
